Everyone at the Boston Film Festival was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of voice acting legend Eric Bauza. Eric was a panelist for the 2025 Boston Film Festival Animation Program representing Warner Bros.. He was such a kind and generous person, always happy to do one of his many voices, whip out a pen to draw Bugs Bunny, and engage with his fans.

Thank you Eric, for everything you have brought to the world. Your positive impact in the animation community will be felt forever. Our thoughts are with his wife, children, family, and friends.

The My Father, Dick Allen team is honored to receive the Best Story Award from the Boston Film Festival.

People like Dick are disproportionately forgotten and ignored by the media, and we are humbled to take part in sharing this lesser-known civil rights story with new audiences. We hope telling Dick's story can help preserve an important part of American history, and give audiences a deeper understanding of the experiences that shaped his life and career.

Thank you to the Boston Film Festival for recognizing the importance of this documentary, we are sincerely grateful to Executive Director Robin Dawson and the entire festival team for their support.
