Yesterday Madonna Del Soccorso Society celebrated a mass in honor of La Madonna celebrating the 400th anniversary of the liberation from the plague in Sciacca. Today the Procession of LaMadonna through the streets of Sciacca.

The relic of St Francis visits La Madonna Del Soccorso Society

Final Reminder, tomorrow night 6pm The Fisherman's Club will be hosting a prayer service followed by public veneration of the relic of St Francis in commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of his death.

The Madonna Del Soccorso Society is proud to join with Saint Leonard’s Parish in welcoming the Relics of Saint Francis of Assisi to Boston.

This is the first time a major relic of the beloved saint is visiting the US and we are proud to be a part of such a historic visit.

The relic of Saint Francis will be on display for veneration at The Fisherman's Club on Wednesday, December 10th from 6 pm - 8 pm starting with a prayer service at 6 pm and public veneration from 6:30 pm - 8 pm. All are welcome to attend this celebration.

The visit with the relic comes on the heels of the 800th anniversary of the passing of Saint Francis of Assisi.
