Today, on World Environment Day, we're taking a moment to reflect on the small changes that can make a big difference.

At Blue-i, sustainability isn't about a single initiative or annual campaign—it's about the everyday decisions we make across our operations, logistics, and event delivery.

From investing in energy-efficient technology and reducing unnecessary transport movements, to minimising waste and extending the lifespan of our equipment, we're continually looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact while delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.

We're proud of the progress we've made, but we know there's always more to do.

Every improvement, no matter how small, contributes to a more sustainable future for our industry.

It's Throwback Thursday, and we’re looking back at our recent Demo Week, where we opened the doors to showcase some of the technology, creative ideas, and immersive experiences we’ve been working on.

It was great to catch up with clients, partners, and industry friends throughout the week - sharing ideas, testing out new tech, and giving people a closer look behind the scenes at what we do.

A massive thank you to everyone who came by and helped make the week such a success 👏

Sustainability in events isn’t just a big idea - it’s built on the small decisions made every day.

At Blue-i, we’re committed to reducing our impact as part of our ongoing ESG approach - from the materials we use to how we deliver projects.

Here are a few ways we’re working more responsibly:

✔ Smarter logistics – planning routes and loads efficiently to cut down on unnecessary transport
✔ Energy-efficient equipment – using modern tech that delivers high performance with lower power consumption
✔ Reducing on-site waste – including using recyclable display boards and fully compostable set design materials, while minimising single-use items wherever possible

We know there’s always more to do, but every step moves us in the right direction.

Because great events shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense 🌱

✨ Celebrating 10 Years at the Olivier Awards ✨

This year marks a special milestone for Blue-i - our 10th year supporting the Olivier Awards.

It’s always an honour to be part of such an iconic night, celebrating the very best of theatre and live performance. From the scale of the production to the incredible talent both on and off stage, it’s a privilege to play our part behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone involved - past and present - who has helped make these events so memorable over the years.

Here’s to a decade of collaboration… and many more to come.
