It's Throwback Thursday, and we’re looking back at our recent Demo Week, where we opened the doors to showcase some of the technology, creative ideas, and immersive experiences we’ve been working on.

It was great to catch up with clients, partners, and industry friends throughout the week - sharing ideas, testing out new tech, and giving people a closer look behind the scenes at what we do.

Sustainability in events isn’t just a big idea - it’s built on the small decisions made every day.

At Blue-i, we’re committed to reducing our impact as part of our ongoing ESG approach - from the materials we use to how we deliver projects.

Here are a few ways we’re working more responsibly:

✔ Smarter logistics – planning routes and loads efficiently to cut down on unnecessary transport
✔ Energy-efficient equipment – using modern tech that delivers high performance with lower power consumption
✔ Reducing on-site waste – including using recyclable display boards and fully compostable set design materials, while minimising single-use items wherever possible

We know there’s always more to do, but every step moves us in the right direction.

Because great events shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense 🌱

This year marks a special milestone for Blue-i - our 10th year supporting the Olivier Awards.

It’s always an honour to be part of such an iconic night, celebrating the very best of theatre and live performance. From the scale of the production to the incredible talent both on and off stage, it’s a privilege to play our part behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone involved - past and present - who has helped make these events so memorable over the years.

…and that’s a wrap on Demo Week 2026 🎬✨

What a fantastic few days it’s been at Blue-i HQ!

Across the 17th, 18th & 19th February, we welcomed a brilliant mix of clients, partners and industry friends to our “Beyond The Brief – Tech Ideas and Innovation Over Coffee” showcase

From Flex Without Limits LED and Muxwave Transparent LED, to Audioscapes immersive audio, our Technology Shootout, and even the Apple Vision 3D AR demo — it was great to see so many of you getting hands-on, asking questions and exploring what’s new on our shelves.

The turnout was incredible and the conversations even better. Weeks like this remind us why we love what we do — bringing people together to experience technology properly, not just talk about it.

A huge thank you to everyone who came by our Milton Keynes HQ and to the Blue-i team who made it all happen 👏

At Blue-i, safety and sustainability go hand in hand. Hard hats protect people on site - but when they reach the end of their working life, they don’t have to end up in landfill.

Through hard hat recycling, we’re helping to:

✅ Support more sustainable industry practices
✅ Keep valuable materials in circulation
✅ Turn used PPE into new opportunities
