Woah, WHAT a weekend! Leeds' first Bachata Weekender was such an unexpected success.

We sold out two days before the event and still had 30+ people on the waiting list.

Planning this wasn't easy. It took far more effort, both physically and mentally, than we initially realised.

Every detail was considered, from the tracks and lineup and everything in between. It was a labour of love and it will always hold a special place in our hearts ♥️

This was our first time bringing this concept to life, and seeing it become a reality was incredibly rewarding. The atmosphere throughout the weekend reminded us exactly why we do what we do: bringing people together through music and dance.

The success of this event belongs to every single person who joined us for the workshops and socials. Many of you travelled from all corners of the UK to be there, and for that, we're incredibly grateful. Thank you 🙏

A huge thank you to our artists .ovgu .doro .iapadre for sharing your knowledge, talent, energy and passion throughout the weekend. You helped create an unforgettable event.

Music was absolutely spot on with two of the best DJs around .bachatero and . Thank you for your music!

To our volunteer Sylvia, photographer .lou.photography, videographer and our promoters Stacey and Rhonda .doro and thank you for everything you did behind the scenes. Events like this simply don't happen without people like you.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who believed in us and trusted us with a brand-new event. The energy on the dance floor, the smiles, the dances and the messages we've received since have completely blown us away.

Bachateros/as, you showed up!

And this is only the beginning.

Join us this January as we celebrate 4 years of Baila Bachata with our biggest event yet. If this weekend was anything to go by, you're not going to want to miss what's coming next. 🎉
