Edinburgh's largest Art, Craft & Design Fair. 100+ exhibitors sell only their own work, in a stunning outdoor setting. Held every year in August, this year is from 3rd - 25th. New exhibitors each Monday and Thursday during the fair.

🌬️ WEATHER UPDATE – CLOSED TUESDAY 5TH AUGUST 🌬️
We’ve been closely monitoring the forecast, and with the Met Office extending their weather warning, and winds expected to reach around 40–41 mph for most of the day, we’ve made the difficult decision to remain closed on Tuesday 5th August for everyone’s safety.

Storm Floris has other plans, but we’re putting the wellbeing of our artists, team, and visitors first.

Thank you so much for your continued patience, kindness, and support, we’re just as eager to get back as you are! We’ll keep you updated and look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday the 6th of August, from 11am 💚

🌧️ 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 – 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄 🌧️
Due to the forecasted storm on Monday 4th August, the West End Fair will be 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 for the day.

The safety of our makers, visitors, and team is always our top priority, and with high winds expected, we’ve made the decision to pause for the day and protect everyone (and their beautiful stalls!).

We’ll be back open as usual on Tuesday at 11am, ready to welcome you with fresh faces, handmade treasures, and hopefully much better weather!

Stalls are being filled. Final prep is underway...
In just two days, this quiet corner of Edinburgh will transform into a buzzing haven of handmade magic.

Artists. Designers. Makers. Over 120 of them - each bringing something real, original, and made by their own hands. (Here's your last sneak peak of what you'll be able to see soon in person!)

You might come for the crafts.
You’ll stay for the vibe.
And probably come back again (and again).

The fair takes place every year across five levels in the stunning grounds of St John’s Church.
We’re endlessly grateful to our incredible team of coordinators and builders, who work tirelessly to bring the West End Fair to life – and take it all down again when it’s over. It’s a massive undertaking, and as you’ve seen from our posts, they show up in rain or shine to make it happen. How else could we host 120+ talented artists & makers and many, many visitors, if not for them (and our wonderful admin team, of course)?
