🎭 Programme Update – New Work Showcase 🎭

Join us on Saturday 28 March at Blackwood Bar for an evening of bold new work from deaf creatives 😍

Due to a change in programme, Amy Murray will no longer be performing.

We’re pleased to share that the evening will now include:

✨ Leah Francisco (in development)
✨ Jonathan Reid – Deaf People (work in progress)
✨ Live Q&A with Chris Fonseca & Nadeem Islam (Fuse Theatre)

Leah and Jonathan will each present new work in development, sharing fresh ideas through comedy, storytelling and performance.

We’re also excited to welcome Chris Fonseca and Nadeem Islam from Fuse Theatre for a live Q&A, hosted by Nadia Nadarajah. They’ll be discussing deaf-led theatre, creativity, access and representation.

We’re excited to reveal the artists performing at our New Work Showcase on 28 March at Blackwood Bar 🀩

The evening will feature performances from:
✨ Leah Francisco
✨ Jonathan Reid
✨ Amy Murray

Each artist will present 30 minutes of new work in development, offering a mix of comedy, storytelling and bold creative ideas.

✨ Networking event for deaf creatives in Scotland ✨

Are you a deaf creative based in Scotland? Join us on Saturday 28 March for a special networking opportunity ahead of the New Work Showcase 🀝

This session is for deaf creatives working across theatre, comedy, performance, writing, film, visual arts and other creative fields.

Come along to meet other deaf creatives, share ideas, and build new connections within the creative community.

We’re also delighted to welcome guests from Fuse Theatre, Chris Fonseca and Nadeem Islam , who will be visiting to meet and connect with deaf creatives in Scotland 😍

After the networking session, you’re welcome to stay for the New Work Showcase at 7:30pm, where three deaf artists will present new work in development.
