🎟️ ONE WEEK TO GO!

Registration for Edinburgh Tartan Parade 2027 opens at 7pm next Monday, 14th September, via Eventbrite.

Next May, we’ll be back on the streets of Edinburgh for our third Parade, and we want you to be part of it!

Gather your clan, society, pipe band, dance group, organisation, colleagues, friends or family and get ready to join thousands of participants marching through the heart of Scotland’s capital on Saturday 8th May 2027.

And the celebrations don’t end at the finish line! Registration also includes entry to our FREE Ceilidh in the Gardens, exclusively for registered Parade participants and volunteers.

On Saturday 8th May 2027, the Edinburgh Tartan Parade will return for its third year, filling the streets of Scotland’s capital with tartan, music and thousands of participants from Scotland and around the world.

Want your group to be part of it?

🎟️ Registration opens via Eventbrite at 7pm on Monday 14th September.

Clans, societies, pipe bands, dancers, community groups, organisations, businesses and groups of friends are all invited to join us.

Your registration also includes entry to our FREE Ceilidh in the Gardens after the Parade, exclusively for registered participants and volunteers.

Places filled quickly for 2026, so gather your group and make sure you’re ready when registration opens!

This Tartan Tuesday, we’re celebrating the Scottish National tartan, proudly worn here by our fabulous Ceilidh in the Gardens presenter Rosaria Mazzone pictured with her lovely mum MM The Celebrant, one of the organisers behind Tartan Parade Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

First created as a national tartan in 1934, with modern versions following later, it isn’t tied to any particular clan. It’s a universal tartan that anyone can proudly wear, representing Scotland, belonging and a shared sense of Scottish pride! ✨

Following two incredible years of tartan, music and celebration on the streets of Scotland’s capital, the Edinburgh Tartan Parade returns for its third year on Saturday 8th May 2027.

Whether you’re a clan, society, pipe band, dance group, community organisation, charity, business or simply a group of friends, we’d love you to join us and march through the heart of Edinburgh.

🎟️ Registration will open via Eventbrite at 7pm on Monday 14th September 2026.

The tuning of the pipes.. the anticipation building before that first step… we can almost feel it already, even from months away! 💙

Seeing the Old Town buzzing and Edinburgh filled with a sea of people during the Festival brings back wonderful memories of Parade day..when that same heart of the city became a sea of tartan!

P.S. We may have been enjoying the Festival a little too much to post… but with the world’s biggest arts festival on our doorstep, who can blame us? 😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
