Bristol Volksfest is a traditional grass roots Volkswagen show. From there it has evolved naturally into one of the biggest VW shows in Britain.

An action packed festival weekend with the very best Volkswagens, music, family entertainment and Brizzleness. Join us at Bristol Volksfest and be a part of the largest grassroots VW festival in the South West. If you're new to Bristol Volksfest or the VW scene - we focus on all the best things VW, from air-cooled to modified and across all generations, culminating in a huge show & shine on Sunday. We mix that in with the best of Bristol culture, whilst encompassing the modern day V-Dub way of life. If you’re a VW driver, air-cooled or water-cooled, music lover, bargain hunter or you enjoy chilled vibes and a relaxed family atmosphere - Bristol Volksfest is for you. The main trade/display field will once again be full of the best displays, both private and club as well as the usual wide variety of traders.

1992 saw the very first Bristol Volksfest held around a football field in Almondsbury, Bristol. The brainchild of founder Adrian Ashby, Bristol Volksfest started as a hobby, creating an opportunity for like minded VDub enthusiasts to come along and put their pride and joys on display and swap parts, knowledge and appreciation for the iconic vehicles. Bristol Volksfest is one of three shows organised by the same dedicated group - the others are Bristol Aircooled+ and Oktoberfest.

Big thanks to Lee and Lisa Jones for collecting up the surf boards after the storm and bringing them to BVF HQ for repurposing ( favour for a favour😉)

Favour for a favour?
Can you help?
We need to get 10 surf/sailboards from Newton Abbot Devon to Bristol.
Anyone with a big empty van travelling that way? No rush just before Christmas 😁 would be nice.
Help on hand to load and unload👍
and a special gift in return.

Here it is then...Comin' in hot!

The official BVF 33 after movie. Relive some of the best moments from Bristol Volksfest 2026. Celebrating 10 years at our beautiful venue, Birches Farm, and 80 years of the VW Type 1 Beetle.
We are incredibly proud to bring you this video shot and edited by the extremely talented Rob Scott - Atlas Works. Thank you for capturing what was, in our opinion, one of the best Volksfest's to date. We hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did.

Special thanks to all our sponsors and contributors, farm owners, amazing staff, clubs, campers, traders, vehicle owners, photographers, videographers and anyone else that knows me!

Aaaaaand that’s a wrap (pretty much).
It’s been emotional. Big love to our mighty build and break team. Working all the hours, in all the conditions…understandably it’s sent them all a lil bit loco.

Adam, Calista, Harry, Mike, Sam, Smiley and everyone else that’s weighed in - we salute you. Until next year boys n girls 🫶 enjoy the weekend off 🍻
