Will we see you In The Clouds? This year, you can once again step inside a cold‑inflated hot air balloon and be swept up in the wonder of Bristol’s ballooning story.

In The Clouds surrounds you with film, sound and light to bring the early engineering of flight to life, and yes, it’s magical in any weather.

Soak up the sounds of live acoustic music, curated by BIMM Bristol. Showcasing emerging local talent, students, and alumni, it’s the perfect soundtrack to your Fiesta day.

🎉 Brizzle Kicks Stage
Got little ones in tow? Head over to our family festival stage, hosted by returning favourites Party Peeps - Children's Party Entertainment! Expect daily children’s entertainment including magic shows, foam parties, dance-offs, and prize giveaways.

These guys are known for delivering high-energy fun at festivals and events. Trust us, if your kids haven’t partied with them yet, now’s the time!

Bristol’s balloons tethered this morning to reveal the first details of this year’s programme, in partnership with Albert Goodman Thank you to all the pilots for bringing some colour to our feeds! While we can’t fly today, it means so much when this community comes together.

There’s no doubt the brilliant team at Albert Goodman have fully embraced the Fiesta and the spirit of ballooning, check out their brand-new bright pink balloon making its first appearance this morning.

As well as the Fiesta’s signature mass ascents, which see up to 100 hot air balloons take to the skies at dawn and dusk, daily (weather permitting) here’s what else is landing for 2026:

Every August, it fills us with joy to shine a light on our brilliant city of Bristol, and to welcome visitors from near and far to experience everything it has to offer beneath the summer’s most colourful skies.
As part of English Tourism Week, we’re celebrating the local stories that collectively create something much bigger.

Our story began in 1978, when the idea of a Bristol Balloon Fiesta was first dreamt up between friends over a beer in The Mall pub in Clifton. We now inject £22 million into Bristol’s economy, including £14.7 million of new expenditure that simply wouldn’t occur without the Fiesta.

Our story is just one part of the region's story and we’re lucky to be surrounded by incredible attractions who help make Bristol and the West of England such a special destination:

Hospitality tickets will move to Tier Two pricing on Monday; which means this weekend is your final chance to book at our lowest available rate.
