Bristol Shanty Shout - 19th & 20th September 2026

Weigh hey and a bottle of scrumpy my luvvers. 🤪
We've been keeping our heads down for a bit but do not fear, plans for our September shout are well in hand. We have a full programme of crews lined up and are very happy to be back on board the MV Balmoral, as well as our fantastic venues at Underfall Yard Underfall Yard and the Great Eastern Hall.

Absolutely awesome day yesterday, massive thanks to all the crews and for those who donated for (Somerset Prostate Support Association) and the Underfall Yard.
And it all kicks off again today at Brunel's SS Great Britain and UY at 11am.

Avast ye, the countdown has started and we are ready to sail at noon o'clock. It's gonna be a blast but if that's the forecast, you'll no need yer sou'wester. We're all sheltered from the worst she can throw at us.

The crews are all set and all looking forward to a shantytastic weekend at Underfall Yard and the Great Eastern Hall at the SSGB. Great sounds, great grub and plenty of grog await.

Avast ye, me hearties. An important signal from the captain..
The shanty shout concert is two thirds full and there are only 14 early bird tickets left, after which the price will go up to a (still staggeringly reasonable) £15.
Better shake a leg, the wooden one would be best.
