Los Angeles-based Kurei is the creative project of Cecilia Rose Pendleton. With an emphasis on ethereal beauty and intricate atmospheres, her music takes you on a journey through dreamy, groove-driven records. Drawing influence from house, garage and breaks, she creates a unique, emotionally driven style of dance music that’s cathartic and timeless.

Her debut album, invite only, showcases her diverse range and musical precision while bringing a nostalgic yet fresh take on modern dance music.
She’s made her rounds in the North American club and festival circuit, having graced stages at Insomniac’s Nocturnal Wonderland, Lightning in a Bottle, Shambhala Music Festival, Atlanta’s DEF Global, Denver’s Mission Ballroom and more.

puka is a Denver-based experimental producer & engineer who creates audio experiments that reflect the diverse underground culture from which she draws inspiration. She has an extensive performance background including playing at festivals such as Lightening in a Bottle and Gem & Jam. Her newest EP “Shades of Gray” showcases puka’s ethereal soundscapes and is available on all streaming platforms.

San Francisco-based selector Clearcast ☁️ is one to watch. Leaning heavily into NUKG and tenebrous UK Bass, the artist’s sets often lie at the intersection between breakbeat bangers and introspective euphoria, with dreamy soundscapes and bright melodies pulled from internet electronica and experimental dance music.

Based out of Los Angeles, Odd Language is at the forefront of the next wave of boundary-pushing
producers. Rooted in the sounds of Trap, Dubstep, and Experimental Bass, while also exploring a
plethora of other genres, Odd Language consistently pushes his sound forward, crafting bold and

Long live the underground, and long live the agencies that move people through sound, not hype!

We’re honored to announce that we’ve called on the underground dawgs for a full BSide LA takeover.

We’re hyped to start the announce off with bringing the Don The Widdler back out + Monty who will be throwing down the illest 140 set! 😤

For those who don’t know, Sub.mission has led the charge in bringing the UK’s underground sound to America. Nicole Cacciavillano single-handedly paved the way for so many of the artists and sounds we hear today. Sub.mission was also one of the first agencies to give us our shot, 11 years ago. Consider this us paying homage to the ones who moved first.

We’re bringing the Sub.mission crew to our new home, The Compound by Dirt Dog®️, and best believe we’re going all out on production. HSD rig locked in, powered by Synchronistic Sound. World-class performers, incredible food, a night market, and so much more.

It’s been an incredible year for BSideLA, and there’s no better way to close it out than with one of our favorite agencies. Lock in, LA. This lineup is a big one.
