스브스뉴스 영상 이후, 많은 한국 시청자분들이 다시 김치워리어를 찾아와 주고 있습니다.
이 다큐멘터리는 2009년 김치워리어가 어떻게 탄생했고, 왜 논란과 혹평을 받았고,
그럼에도 어떻게 15년 동안 포기하지 않고 이어왔는지 담은 리마스터 버전입니다.
초기에는 낮은 완성도와 기괴한 설정 때문에 조롱·악플을 많이 받았습니다.

This is the remastered mini documentary(Web Doc) about Kimchi Warrior,
a Korean web animation created in 2009 by director Young Man Kang.
Although the series won international awards, it was heavily criticized in Korea for its low-budget visuals and unusual story concept.
Over time, it became a meme, and many viewers mocked or dismissed it.
However, years later—especially after the “Kimchi origin dispute” with China—
people began to reevaluate the project.
Many former critics have returned, admitting,
“I was too harsh back then,” and have become supporters.
This 6-minute documentary shows:
How Kimchi Warrior was created
The challenges during production
Why the creator continued despite massive criticism
And why the series is now being rediscovered 15 years later.
