We’re looking for a few friendly volunteers to help out at Slaley Hall on Sunday 15th November from around 8:30am to 12:30pm 🕣

As a thank-you, you’ll get free entry to the Trail Run*, plus a hot drink and a sandwich 🥪☕

1,400 runners. One incredible community. Countless personal journeys ❤️🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, 1,400 runners descended on Seaham for Tommy Runs, and what a day it was!

Behind every pair of running shoes was a story. The early mornings, the training sessions, the sprint sessions, the first 5K, the first race, the new 10K challenge. Some chasing a personal best, others simply chasing a dream.

Whatever your reason, whatever your goal, you chose Tommy Runs – and we’re so glad you did.

To every runner who showed up, gave it their all, supported a fellow runner and helped create such an incredible atmosphere, THANK YOU! 🫶

🏅 THE TOMMY RUNS 2026 🏅

Always a favourite in our events calendar and our biggest event to date! A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported us and took part. We hope you all had a fantastic time! 🦌

Events don't always go without a few hiccups, and unfortunately the inclement weather disrupted our sound system and microphone. But a massive shout-out to Al Pepper for being a fantastic compare and keeping things going! 📣

🏃 Race results were live with Timing Up North Ltd, and photos from Dave the Sports Photographer are currently loading. They'll be available soon, so keep an eye on your inbox tomorrow for an email!

🎁 A big thank you to summitzuk for providing spot prizes for every 100th finisher! If you crossed the line as a lucky winner but didn't receive your prize, we'll be in touch!

💛 A special mention to Louie's for making the course extra special with their energy, and thank you to everyone who donated – your support means so much!
