If possible please bring your own cup for a drink. There will also be a cake sale raising money for Tynedale Harriers. Please bring cash.
You can park at the cricket club. Parking is £2 per car. Please bring the right amount in cash. This will be donated to the cricket club. Please follow marshal instructions.

It is important that you listen to all instructions given at the pre-race briefing. Runners must listen to marshal instructions.
Earphones must not be worn, as there may be vehicles on the course, and are therefore banned by UKA as you will not be able to hear traffic or marshal instructions. ‘Bone Conducting’ earphones are permitted. The race does not have closed roads. This is because the route uses very quiet rural roads. However, you must be aware of traffic, and not assume that you have been seen or have priority.
The course is a ‘1 lap’ course. The start is about 500m from the cricket club, over the main road in Maften. The course goes anti-clockwise via High House Farm, Stamfordham and Fenwick. There will be two water stations on the route This will be at approximately 5.2km and 12.4km. Please discard ‘squirt-squeeze-drop’ your bottles at the side of the road close to the water station, so that we can ensure that they are all collected and recycled. There will be no gels or other food at the water stations. Water will also be available at the finish. Please do not take more than one bottle at each station.
The race has a time limit of 2 hours 15 minutes, after which the marshals will begin to stand down.
The race has a UK Athletics race licence, number 2026-31724. You can find the course map online.
If you cannot run, then you can transfer your entry to another runner. You can do this yourself by logging on to the Racebest website.

Have a great race!
