It is run by riders, volunteers and local people who care about making the day work brilliantly for everyone who turns up. Marlow Riders CC has been behind the ride for 15 years, supported by marshals, helpers, cake bakers, route planners, feed-stop teams and sign-on volunteers.

The Red Kite Ride is back, and 2026 is a big one.

Sunday 6 September marks the 15th anniversary of this volunteer-run Marlow cycling event. Over the years, riders, helpers, sponsors and local supporters have helped raise almost £200,000 for local charities. Choose from 40, 50, 80 or 100 miles. Ride hard, ride steady, ride with your club, or ride with friends. It is not a race.
