Marlow Half Marathon, The Frankenstein & Marlow 7 Three fabulous race options taking in the scenic Chiltern Hills. 09:30 SUNDAY 1st November 2026. It is a fully signed and marshalled course with mile markers.

Marlow Striders are delighted to confirm that entries are now open for the ever-popular Marlow Half Marathon and Marlow 7. These races will take place at 9:30am on Sunday 5th November 2022, starting in the beautiful, Thames-side town of Marlow. Held on quiet country lanes in the scenic Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, the acclaimed Marlow Half Marathon is a challenging course over the classic 13.1 mile distance, and is a great introduction to this testing but beautiful and rewarding terrain. Its sister event, the Marlow 7, although shorter, shares with its sibling event a lovely, but challenging course that starts and finishes in Marlow. They are both circular courses, with a Race Village based at the Marlow Sports Club. We start both events from the High Street in Marlow Town Centre. Electronic race timing is included and your finishing time will be texted to you. There is a medal and a goodie bag for all finishers; and prizes for the different age categories. We are sure you will enjoy our event for 2023.

Charity is at the heart of everything we do. ❤️

Since 1989, the Marlow Half Marathon event has raised over £334,000 for charity.

As a not-for-profit event organised by runners, for runners, all funds raised go towards supporting charities and important causes.

This year, we are proud to be supporting Brighter Futures Together CIC and Stamp Out Su***de, helping to raise vital funds for the incredible work they do.

It takes an incredible 180 volunteers from Marlow Striders and our local community to make race day happen. From marshals and water stations to registration, medals and everything in between, every one of them gives their time to help create an unforgettable day and raise important funds in the process.

So when you enter one of our races, you're doing more than taking on a personal challenge.

You're becoming part of something that gives back.

Our races take place on Sunday 1 November 2026.
