The Occupational Therapy Show is the largest dedicated gathering of occupational therapists in the UK, offering FREE CPD returns to the NEC Birmingham on 25-26 November 2026 The conference programme stretches across four separate streams, covering clinical areas including:

Mental health
Children and families
Innovation
Research in practice
Neurology in practice
Housing and adaptions

There are a total of 80 hours of professional development to be obtained over the two days.

Next up we hear from one of CMSUK’s Chairs, Rhiannon Stokes.

Who started her career in the NHS but moved to independent practise and during this move found case management.

Since then, she has gone on to found her own case management business, become an expert witness for the courts and become the first occupational therapist to be chair of CMSUK.

The next trustee we would like you to meet from CMSUK is DR. Joanna Fletcher-Smith.

Joanna was inspired to become an OT after having an accident and sustaining life changing injuries at the age of 14. When Joanna turned 18, she went off to university to train to be an occupational therapist herself, and her career has grown from there.

Make sure to speak to her and the team and the CMSUK stand at the Occupational Therapy Show in November at The NEC Birmingham.
