A look back at last summer’s week at Paddington Trust Farm! 🐑🌱

Our young people swapped city sounds for birdsong and screen time for sunshine, with many experiencing farm life for the very first time. From feeding animals and growing food to learning more about nature.

We’re excited for this year’s Farm Diaries and look forward to sharing more special moments with you very soon!

A huge thank you to everyone at Paddington Trust Farm for continuing to welcome us so warmly every year. 💚

🎬 Our friends at Coram’s Fields Charity are running a brilliant Filmmaking Hub for young people aged 12–16!

Taking place on 11, 18 and 20 August, the workshops will explore storytelling, camera techniques, shot composition and creating short films.

Enter the Lord Mayor’s Art Competition 2026!

Westminster City Council is inviting artists to celebrate the rich diversity of our city through art.

Show the people, places, cultures, stories and everyday experiences that make Westminster unique and share what culture means to you.

Theme: Celebrate Westminster: Through Your Eyes

Categories:
• Under 18
• 18 and over

🏆 The winning artwork from each category will be displayed in the Lord Mayor’s Parlour, giving your work the chance to be seen in a prestigious Westminster location.

📅 Deadline: 7 September 2026
Artwork size: Any size, up to a maximum of 175cm high by 140cm wide
📍 Who can enter: Anyone who lives, works or studies in Westminster

We’d love to see members of the Paddington Arts community get involved and share their creativity!

Paddington Arts Summer School 2026! 🎭🎨

We’re excited to welcome children aged 6–10 for four weeks of creativity, fun and new experiences!

📅 Monday 3 August – Thursday 27 August 2026
⏰11am–4pm
📍 Paddington Arts, 32 Woodfield Road, London W9 2BE

Children can enjoy:

✨ Dance and drama
✨ Arts and crafts
✨ Steel-pan and carnival workshops
✨ Cooking
✨ Sports
✨ Local visits and weekly day trips
…and much more!

Places are free, and every child will receive a free hot lunch each day. Packed lunches are also welcome.

Weekly day trips cost £15 per child, per trip.

Only 40 places are available, and Paddington Arts members will be given priority. Please complete the registration form and we’ll contact you to confirm whether your child has a place.

While we're busy looking towards our exciting expansion, we're also taking a moment to look back.

Join us on a trip down memory lane to 1997, when lottery funding helped us purchase our building and lay the foundations for everything Paddington Arts has become today.

The arts do so much more than nurture creativity. They promote wellbeing, encourage self-expression, strengthen communities and open doors to new opportunities.
