We joined our Making Spaces partner, Future Icons, for a special breakfast to welcome some of this year’s artisans - hearing first-hand about their creative journeys, craft practices and what they’re most excited to share with the Decorex community this October.

👐 From hand-carved stone and woven textiles to sculptural plaster, marquetry, mosaics, paper art and sustainable material innovation, this year’s lineup showcases the incredible breadth of contemporary craft.

🎨 Making Spaces is more than a showcase. It’s a chance for interior designers to meet the makers, discover emerging talent, experience live demonstrations and workshops, and gain a deeper understanding of the skill and storytelling behind the pieces they specify.

👐 Following another hugely successful year, Making Spaces will once again bring together an exceptional new line-up of artisans and makers, celebrating craftsmanship, creativity and the art of making.

🎨 In partnership with organisations including Future Icons, QEST, Cockpit and Rycotewood Furniture Centre, the space gives interior designers the chance to discover emerging talent, source one-of-a-kind pieces and connect directly with the makers behind the work.

🤍 From live demonstrations and workshops to tactile materials and future heirlooms in the making, Making Spaces has become one of the most inspiring destinations on the Decorex show floor.
