Our final Habitat Sculpture Training session at Nower Wood was the perfect way to tie off our training — from an exciting proposal workshop from Surrey Hills Arts and sharing ideas around the table, to wandering through the woods at dusk and bat spotting at the lake. 🦇🌲

What a journey it's been. Special thanks for Surrey Hills Arts, Surrey Wildlife Trust and all the bats that came out to say hello - we had quite the show!

This project wouldn't have been possible without the support of Community Foundation for Surrey.

Content catch up! We've been busy this last month at DAiSY.

Here's our fourth Habitat Sculpture session on the beautiful grounds of West Horsley Place. We took a walk through the grounds with Head Gardener Matt Link, collecting found objects from nature, and diving into assemblage with the brilliant Sam Williams. The sun came out for us!🌿

Afternoons spent crafting habitable sculptures from the natural world around us. Creativity, community, and the great outdoors.

What more could you ask for? 🪵

Special thanks to West Horsley Place, Surrey Hills Arts and Community Foundation for Surrey for support on this amazing project!

We're seeking a passionate individual to join our board of Non-Executive Directors.

Founded in 2011, DAiSY is a community interest company that champions D/deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent artists across Surrey through festivals, commissions, artist networks, training and advocacy.

We are now entering an exciting new chapter - applying for charitable status and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation funding - and we're looking for a non-executive director to help guide us forward. This is a voluntary role.

Could it be you? Send a letter and CV, or a recording describing your background and experience by 10th May.

We look forward to hearing from you!
