Hi all, just received this email from Oakleaf detailing how they will spend the money we raised. Many thanks again for coming to Defcon 2 and helping to raise the money.

On behalf of everyone at Oakleaf, I wanted to say a huge thank you for organising your Defcon gaming weekend and raising funds for our cause.

The £388.87 will allow us to support at least 12 individuals to each have 10 hours of 1-1 counselling with a clinical psychologist. This service is a huge life line to so many in our community and we would not be able to provide this counselling without your support.

I can confirm we have now safely received the bank transfer of £388.87 in our account.

Thank you so much again, we are incredibly grateful for your support.

Delighted to say that Defcon 2 raised £388.87 for Oakleaf Enterprise.

With just a week to go till Defcon 2, just a reminder that there will be a Pitch Car small-prix on Sunday afternoon.

The tracks will be set up for free play over the weekend and we may do additional races depending on demand.

Hey folks, Defcon 2 is a small gaming convention in Guildford on the 16th and 17th November. Tickets are £10 Sat, £7.50 Sun and £15 for both days.

Open gaming as well as Pandemic Survival and Pitch Car events. Space for larger games as well as games left in situ over night if desired. (by prior arrangement)

Free tea, coffee and biscuits.

Pandemic Survival

Saturday 16th Nov 11:00 – 12:00
Sunday 17th Nov 11:00 – 12:00

In Pandemic Survival teams of 2 players compete against each other to be the first to cure all the diseases or be the last team standing as civilization collapses.

Both teams have the same events, city cards and infections and victory is down top their choices.

Victory will require aggressive play towards curing!

To join in the event you need a good understanding of the Pandemic base game. Each team will also need a copy of the game. Some spare copies may be available on a first come first served basis.

Entry to the event is £1 per player which goes to the Oakleaf Enterprise.

There will be a small prize in the form of the Aldershot Games Shop store credit for the winning team.

This variation of Pandemic is quick and really fun, certainly renewed my interest in the game after a long hiatus when I played in an event a few years ago.

Just had confirmation that Mind received our donation.

Thanks to all those who attended and everyone who helped out, it was a great weekend and we raised loads of cash.
