Course conditions are... pretty decent. A bit muddy in places but bottom of Ferry Lane (photo 2) is the worst section and it's only a couple of metres.
There's a short diversion by the water works shortly after the start, it's signed and a lead biker will take the leader(s) through to the right turn down to the river.

What goes up, must come down. While the majority of the pi loop is flat, there are a couple of hills to keep it interesting.
The Sand Castle is a tough climb that rewards you with views of the ruins of St Catherine's Chapel.

Mince Pi Run is just 4 weeks away. Sadly we lost one of our regular Pi runners recently. Special rainbow pi pie medals will commemorate Matt this year.
