What does a Burgundy hillside have in common with a Georgian ballroom on George Street?

Last month we welcomed The Wine Society 1874 to the Music Hall for an evening of Burgundy wines and it got us thinking about terroir, the French idea that place is inseparable from what it produces.

The Assembly Rooms has its own version of that and we’ve written about what that means.
