We are very saddened by this news today, and send all our love to our good friends the team at The Old Dr Bells Baths who have offered us endless help and support over the last 6 years - we couldn’t have managed in the start without these amazing people giving us a hand up and lots of advise, chairs, glassware, staff, last minute kegs and so much more!

With their blessing we would like to offer our assistance in supporting couples who need to rearrange their wedding venue locally with some urgency to try and ease some pressure during what is already a very upsetting time for any business

BFBF2025 will again be bringing exceptional beer, boutique spirits, fine wines and other quality beverages to the heart of Leith, over three three-hour sessions.

We have partnered with the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) to host their annual home brewers competition, offering home and amateur brewers the chance to have their beers judged by both industry professionals and attendees of the Biscuit Factory Beverage Festival 2025 (BFBF2025).

If you are an aspiring brewer or long-time beer aficionado, you can enter your best recipes by following the details on the CIBD website, link in bio.

As an attendee of The Biscuit Factory Beverage Festival 2025, you can become a judge for the People's Choice Award and taste the entrants' homebrews during the festival sessions.

CIBD will also be hosting talks and masterclasses on Friday and Saturday for £10, including:

Friday Evening Session
18:00-18:30 - Botanicals in Beer with Ken Duncan of CIBD (cost & profit split tbc)

Saturday Evening Session
16:00-17:00 - Identifying Faults in Beer with Alix Blease & Sally MacGarry (£10 a ticket - profit split tbc)
17:00-18:30 - CIBD Home Brewer Competition - Judging
18:30-19:00 - CIBD Home Brewer Competition - Awards Presentation (£10 a ticket, includes entry to BFBF, £5 for additional entries - profit split tbc?)

All home-brew entrants get free access to the beverage festival.

We are hosting an open house on Monday the 17th of March at the Biscuit Factory Floor/ for those wanting to learn all about CHL rules and national rankings, followed by further sign-ups on Monday 17th & 24th of March before the first monthly comp starts on the first Monday in April!

Compete for weekly prizes and monthly cash payouts by joining us for Co****le League brought to you by Cornholios Edinburgh & Walkie Talky Brewing Co. starting Monday 7 April.
