TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️
We know inconclusive health issues can be upsetting but we wanted to share our retirement journey honestly with you all.
This week Jasmine, our healthy little baby, had a seizure. She hadn’t been out in the heat, she was normal and happy one minute, then seizuring the next.
The seizure was very brief and this video was taken the minute after. In true Jasmine fashion she got up, shook herself off, and started play fighting with Bee!
We got her to calm down a little and did some checks (feel free to chat if you’ve never had to do any neurological checks before) but everything had gone back to seeming completely normal straight after.
With our girls retired we are often at the vets these days. In fact last month we had a cancer scare and Ama and Bee have chronic long term issues. But we didn’t think Jasmine would be cashing out her pension health care just yet!
She may have epilepsy but for now we’re optimistic this was a one off occurrence. We just have to wait and see.
Just another example of how precious good health is and how not guaranteed it is. Embrace every day and don’t forget to be thankful of the little things ♥️
