💚 At The Beat Goes On Festival, sustainability has been part of our DNA since we launched in 2021. From eliminating plastic bottled water waste and introducing reusable cups to upcycling materials into signage, seating and art, we’re committed to doing things differently.
⚡ Now we’re taking things to the next level for May 2027.
Working alongside our power partner, Next Phase Productions, and venue partner, Oxwick Farm, we’re aiming for 100% renewable energy and a 99% reduction in emissions from our on-site energy use — targeting an incredible 5 tonnes of CO₂e saved.
That’s a huge step forward for a small festival with BIG production values, proving that sustainability and ambitious production can go hand in hand.
✨ It was fantastic to share our journey and future plans on the Best of the Summer: Green Success Stories 2026 panel. Plus an honour and a privilege to be part of the conversations, learning from others who are driving meaningful change across the live events industry.
A huge thank you to everyone behind for bringing together such an inspiring community. I’m leaving with fresh ideas, renewed determination and an even stronger belief that sustainable events must become the standard, not the exception.
🌍 Small festivals. BIG ideas. Meaningful change. 💚
