CABARET CHANTEUSE is back for our fourth show at Egan's on Thursday July 9th! Room opens at 6:00pm, show starts at 7:00. Arrive early for best seating and service! And not only are we excited to feature fabulous Chantoozies Karen Skrinde and Valerie Piacenti, but we're introducing our first MANteuse, Aaron Shanks, PLUS Mark Rabe pulling double duty as both a Manteuse and our marvelous Music Director! Hosted by me, Gretchen Rumbaugh, we'll be singing you songs from the Broadway canon ~ with a bit of a twist! Each of us choosing a song sung by a Broadway character we would NEVER be cast as! You must come see us to learn just what that means!

Thank you Craig Pomranz, President of the American Songbook Association, for a wonderful and very productive two-day masterclass here at Egan's in Seattle.

Seattle Cabaret Festival’s 18th season opens on May 8 at The Triple Door hosted by Arnaldo! DragChanteuse (“… a gloriously talented singer” – Seattle Times 2025) and featuring The Love Markets ( “irresistible … A deliciously dark carnival” – Seattle Magazine).

The night’s must-see lineup includes spotlight performances by nine of SCF 2026’s most uniquely captivating acts, including The Drunken Tenor, Seattle’s only standup-comedy opera singer; rowdy music-making and fiddle-playing from Black Bra Pirate Cabaret; the cheeky girl-group harmonies and ukelele rhythms of Blue Plate Special; the soul-stirring story songs of Claudine Mboligikpelani Nako; the expressive warmth of tenor Aaron Shanks; the song stylings of NYC Mac Award-winner Craig Pomranz and the rising stars of Cornish Cabaret with Rich Gray; and offbeat hilarity and heart from Lopez Island singer-songwriter/guitarist/gay farmer Derek Eisel.
