Practice Tip No. 3: Create a Practice Plan
You and your child can plan out each practice session so they know exactly what to expect. Make a list, a map (like this one), or just talk about what they will be working on that day. Taking a bow is a great way to start and end the practice!

Find a time that is convenient for your family. It might be after dinner, before school, or part of the bed time routine - pajama practice is always fun! Your child will grow accustomed to the new practice schedule in no time.

This program features a lecture recital on Florence Price’s “Five Folksongs in Counterpoint” by the Huldra Quartet. This warm yet intricate piece blends American folk songs and Black spirituals with complex counterpoint.
