This Thursday the 18th the new Pittsburgh Business Club, founded by AHYP members, will be putting on their second presentation. This one is titled "Purpose Driven Real Estate Investing."
Thursday, June 25th is the next installment of our Pittsburgh History Series and this one focuses on Andy Warhol. Andy was from Pittsburgh and his nephew, Donald Warhola, will be here to give us his perspective, not only on Andy the artist, but the person. It should prove to be fascinating.
First Friday cocktails and networking is happening Friday, July 3rd.
Painting with a Twist is happening on Thursday, July 9th. This is one of those events I'm taking a chance on because we're committed (financially) to participating whether folks actually sign up, or not. So, please consider coming here and realizing you inner Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Grandma Moses or Bob Ross! You'll be provided with everything you need, even the inspiration, to create a work of art!
Ok, so maybe painting a masterpiece isn't in the cards for you, how about learning how to make a few cocktails instead? Our popular Make-Your-Own-Cocktail night is returning on Friday, July 10th! Our bartender Matthew will lead you through the creation of three cocktails. The best part is that you get to drink your completed works! It's always a fun time!
Are you or any of your friends interested in AHYP membership? Then you should be a part of our membership open house on Tuesday, July 14th.
Friday, July 17th we're having live music at the club! The Jazz Trio with Susan Leslie on vocals will be performing that evening. Come down, have a couple of drinks, enjoy some music, maybe even dance. Well, know your limitations if you're not much of a dancer! Susan and the band play a good mix of old and new standards and they've wowed people on both Valentine's Day and our Boogie Woogie Bash. Commit now and spend what's sure to be a fun evening with us!
July's Pittsburgh History presentation is happening on Wednesday, July 22nd. It will be on the lovely Idlewild Park. I'll have a link and more details for this one posted soon.
Finally, do you like to laugh? Assuming you do, you'll get a kick out of our Comedy Improv night happening here on Friday, July 24th. Whip-smart wit and clever wordplay and jokes dreamt up on the spot will having you laughing. Of course, a couple of beers or wines helps, too!
