125 years! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our birthday party concert on May 1.

And to all those who asked, yes, May 1 is our official birthday. While our building construction started a few years prior, May 1, 1901 is the day our doors opened to the public, and we've been going ever since.

Some people have a birthday or a birthweek, but we're going to go ahead and have a whole birthyear, so if you missed the party, don't worry. We'll be finding ways to celebrate all year long.

Hope to see you at the Library & Music Hall soon đź’–

Thanks to for the photos!

Have you checked out our display cases this month?

The first case features an incredible collection of rocks and minerals from our very own Nate Wyrick. This display includes beautiful specimens from around the world and reflects his lifelong passion for geology.

The second case highlights unique items from Carnegie’s newest shop, The Wandering Fish Society ! Located on Main Street, the store specializes in “weird gifts and OG art,” offering creative, one-of-a-kind finds you won’t see anywhere else.

Stop by the library to explore both displays and discover something new!
