Eight years ago today, La'Wanda and Tyrone became one at Marina Village in San Diego.

November 4, 2018. Sailboats in the marina behind them, palms overhead, and a celebration built around their faith, with a Unity Cross ceremony at the center of it all.

We handled the details that make a day feel seamless: rehearsal assistance so everyone knew exactly where to stand, marriage license coordination so the paperwork never touched their day, and a custom-created ceremony script written around their beliefs and their story.

Thousands of miles from home, Chantelle and Ben made a promise in the middle of the Joshua Tree desert.

Do we need witnesses for our marriage license?

Here is how California handles it. A public marriage license requires one witness, and up to two may sign your license after the ceremony. Many couples invite a witness or two from both sides of the family so that they will appear on the document.

A confidential license requires no witnesses at all.

Here is the part couples stress over: What if I don't have any guests to my ceremony or I don't know who I'd want to sign.

If you do not have witnesses of your own or can't decide, we provide professional witnesses at no charge. That goes for chapel ceremonies and destination ceremonies alike. A professional steps in, signs where the state requires, and your license is complete the same day.
