🖤HAPPY DEATH DAY BELA LOGOSI! 🧛🏻‍♂️

Fun Fact: While Tim Burton has been notably inspired by the works of Dr. Seuss and Roald Dahl, *The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari* has also left a significant mark on many of his films, including *Edward Scissorhands*, *Sweeney Todd*, *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, and more. This influential German thriller has inspired a wide range of artists, including David Bowie and Bauhaus, who used imagery from the film for the cover of their iconic single "Bela Lugosi's Dead" in 6 August 1979.

Though it's a silent film, I highly recommend watching this gripping classic. 🍿💀

FYI: Bela Logosi died from an Heart Attack, August 16 1956. His last film is a few minutes of footage of Ed Wood's Plan 9. Logosi was buried with his Dracula cape in Landera Heights, California. He was 73 years old.
