🕊️Plaza de la Raza joins our community in mourning the loss and also celebrating the life of Dolores Huerta. Her life's work, leadership and vision for a better world serves as an example of dedicated passion and purpose for all, and we are all better off for what she accomplished in her long life. We will soon celebrate Día de los Mu***os as a means of coping with death, to comfort us in memory and to find joy in cultural celebration. We recognize that she is not gone, for she still lives within all of us. ¡Viva Dolores Huerta! She will never be forgotten, she will always be loved and she will always be remembered.

🏵️💐Our Día de los Mu***os 2026 lineup of performances will include Danza Divina de Los Angeles danzadivinadelosangeles , a special Student Dance Showcase followed by a powerful choreodrama honoring the Mexican Revolution by resident dance company Folklor Pasión Mexicana Folklor Pasion Mexicana . El Mariachi Manchester El Mariachi Manchester will also take the stage with their unique fusion of traditional mariachi and songs by Morrissey/The Smiths!
