Drive through over 1 million lights, then enjoy Santa, animals, train rides & more at Southern Lights, Nov 28–Dec 31 at the KY Horse Park! Celebrating its 29th year at the Kentucky Horse Park, Southern Lights presented by Friends of Coal is a magical holiday tradition for thousands of families throughout the Bluegrass and beyond. At the end of the route, we invite you to park and explore the Holid

ay Village (included in admission). The Holiday Village features visits with Santa, Santa’s North Pole Mailbox (where children can drop off their Christmas List), Animal Land, Mini Train rides, Bluegrass Miniature Train Display, and the Kentucky Horse Park Gift Shop. Grab a quick snack in the village or sit down for dinner in the KHP restaurant to complete your visit.

Because the holiday magic shouldn’t be rushed ✨🎄 Due to high crowd levels, the Southern Lights Holiday Village will remain open past 10 PM through Christmas Eve. We’re excited to give everyone extra time to enjoy the lights, treats, and festive fun of the Holiday Village!
