Middlesbrough Mela is one of the biggest most spectacular multi-cultural festivals in the North-East

Middlesbrough Mela is a free multi-cultural festival of regional significance which reflects the aspirations and needs of the communities within Middlesbrough, the wider Tees Valley area and beyond, reaching audiences of 50,000 over the two day festival. Held every year since 1990, Middlesbrough Mela sees the town celebrate its culture and diversity through a wide range of music, entertainment, a funfair and a popular bazaar packed full of stalls.
