🎂🎹 What did I compose on YOUR birthday?

From 23 Dec 2008 to 22 Dec 2009 I wrote a new piece every single day: 365 pieces, one for each day of the year. That’s my Personal Realbook.

We’ve just updated the website again with some cool new features, like a timeline and a world tour map.
And now everyone can find their own birthday piece: enter your birthday, see the piece that was written on that exact day, and send it to friends with just one click. 🎁

This time of the year again… 🎹
Another concert with Michael Mantler coming up – and once again he’s pushing me right to the limits of what I can do on the piano.

Practice, practice, practice… not quite there yet 😅

And congratulations to Michael on the “High Impact Award” at the Österreichischer Jazzpreis 🏆
I feel lucky to have been a small part of the Mantler universe for 13 years now – and to have recorded 4 albums with him.

🗓 Wed, 28.10. – Porgy & Bess, Vienna

Michael Mantler – “One Chamber Symphony and more”

Michael Mantler – compositions
Christoph Cech – conductor
Gareth Davis – bass clarinet
Joanna Lewis & Anne Harvey-Nagl – violin
Lena Fankhauser – viola
Asja Valcic – cello
Maximilian Kanzler – vibraphone
David Helbock – piano
