Next summer, the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod celebrates its 80th anniversary, and we’re inviting singers, choirs, instrumentalists and dancers from around the world to come and be part of it.

Competitions have been at the heart of Llangollen since 1947, and our 2027 syllabus brings together much-loved Eisteddfod traditions with new and refreshed opportunities for performers of all ages.

Highlights for 2027 include:
• a new Small Vocal Ensemble competition
• refreshed opportunities for instrumental ensembles

• dance categories spread across both Saturday and Sunday, giving visitors an even greater variety of music, singing and dance to enjoy throughout the final weekend
• the return of the prestigious Choir of the World, Young Choir of the World and Pendine International Voice of the Future

From 7–11 July 2027, Llangollen will once again welcome competitors from across the globe for five unforgettable days of performance, friendship and cultural exchange.
