Oswestry Balloon Carnival returns for 2026!🎈

The much loved Oswestry Balloon Carnival will return to Cae Glas Park on August 22nd and 23rd 2026.

Bringing a weekend of colour, entertainment and family friendly fun back to the heart of the town.

Organised in association with Nightingale House Hospice, Oswestry Town Council and Oswestry BID, the annual event has become a firm fixture in Oswestry’s calendar, attracting visitors from across the region while raising vital funds for hospice care.🩵

Across the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy the spectacle of hot air balloons taking to the skies, weather permitting, alongside live entertainment, local performances, interactive activities and a wide range of food and craft stalls. The event is free to attend, with visitors encouraged to make a voluntary donation to support the essential services provided by Nightingale House Hospice.

The Oswestry Balloon Carnival 2026 promises another unforgettable weekend, celebrating community spirit, local culture and a shared commitment to supporting a vital local charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Oswestry Balloon Carnival this weekend! Your support has helped make this a truly special event for our town and, most importantly, has raised vital funds for Nightingale House Hospice.

None of this would have been possible without Oswestry Town Council, Oswestry BID, Spirit Operations, the fantastic Balloonist who have put another spectacular display, our amazing volunteers, and—of course—you, the visitors who made it such a success.
