🇬🇷

Honouring 86 years of courage, unity, and resilience. Today, we stand with the Greek community worldwide to celebrate Oxi Day, commemorating the historic moment in 1940 when Greece gave a resounding "NO" to tyranny and chose the path of freedom.

Because "NO" is a complete sentence.

CLUB STATEMENT | BEN COCKERILL

West Adelaide Soccer Club confirms that it has accepted the resignation of Ben Cockerill from his position as Senior Head Coach, following his decision to step down.

Having joined West Adelaide at the end of 2024, Ben played an important role in our successful promotion back to the National Premier League in 2025, including stepping up to lead the First Team following Theo Tsiounis' move to Adelaide United, before taking on the role of Senior Head Coach for the 2026 season.

West Adelaide thanks Ben for his dedication and contribution to the club over the past two seasons, particularly his role in helping return the First Team to the National Premier League and his commitment to leading the squad throughout 2026.

Ben will always be welcome at West Adelaide, and we wish him and his family all the very best for the future.

An announcement regarding the appointment of our new Senior Head Coach will be made in due course.

Thank you, Ben. 💙🤍

🔵⚪ WELCOME (BACK) EVAN & KOSTA! ⚽️
West Adelaide Hellas is delighted to announce Evan Kostopoulos and Kosta Mantis as our new MiniRoos Coordinators!

Between them, there’s 500+ NPL games, multiple titles, A-League experience, professional stints overseas and Hellas senior’s captaincy. Not a bad CV!

But what makes this appointment even more special is that both Evan and Kosta came through the Hellas junior ranks themselves and now they’re giving back and helping develop the next generation of West Adelaide players.

They’ve already hit the ground running, with our 10-session Saturday Skills Clinic kicking off this month.

From Hellas juniors → the highest levels of the game → developing our next generation. The pathway continues. 🔵⚪

Welcome aboard, Evan & Kosta! 👊⚽️
