Open 7 days a week, Plant 4 is home to 15 locally owned multicultural eateries, a selection of boutique retail stalls and a full calendar of seasonal events and markets. "Plant 3 and Plant 4 Bowden is a South Australian family run business in the heart of Bowden, SA. The old, industrial, saw tooth roof buildings which were originally built by Clipsal in the 60s, experienced a reawakening in 2016 b
y local SA family, the Kaitatzis Group. The repurposed, multi-use space has a strong focus on community, sustainability, supporting local producers and businesses and celebrates inclusivity and multiculturalism with weekly markets, events and workshops, cafes, restaurants, bars, small retails shops as well as a grocery store, bakery, brewery, hairdresser, cellar, the list goes on. Plant 3 and Plant 4 Bowden are neighbouring sister spaces lovingly connected with a bridge, both proudly have a 5 star green star rating. Within the spaces that feature soaring ceilings that flood the buildings with natural light, have a carefully selected mix of local family run businesses sharing their passions and wares with our Adelaide community. Our eateries serve traditional handmade food from many different countries such as Thailand, Taiwan, Pakistan, Greece, Japan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Spain, Mexico, Italy and amazing local SA seafood. From handmade sourdough, French pastries and Afghan sweets to locally brewed beer by Bowden Brewing, Plant 3 and Plant 4 has something for everyone. We designed the space to bring the community together as a local hub which spills out onto the gorgeous Bowden Park. The space is open 7 days a week, with varying opening hours within the eateries and retail, as well as weekly night markets which then transforms into a beautiful wedding space. Plant 3 and Plant 4 also hosts other public events such as 80s dance nights, SA gin and wine events to trivia nights and so much more! We welcome you to join us and experience the wonderful collective energy in our space. About our family:
To our family, Plant 3 & Plant 4 are part of the fabric of who we are. There is often no definitive line between work & our daily lives. It all seems to merge. We live, eat & breathe what we do. This is why we find it so important to love & believe in what we do. We feel we need to bring as many passions & ethics along with us as we can. We love to create extended-like family atmospheres & environments. Our staff connection is strong. Social groups are created. We have been able to express & extend our connection to food. How people feel in a space is so important to us. Sustainability, food waste & awareness of the local origins of food is thoughtfully considered."
