Come and party out with the headliner Yami-kawaii Alternative Idol "Zenbu Kimi No Sei Da." - Currently on their "~ ZO-HEN-SHIN-SHOKU 愛rosion TOUR ~", they are mavericks & trailblazers of the Japanese Underground with Alt Rock, Metal, Punk, and electronica blended in. New name, same competition!

Animaga Melbourne’s annual singing competition is back and wanting you to apply!

Animaga uta taikai lets your voice take the stage and have a chance to be crowned our Melbourne winner!

The 24th annual Japan Festival takes place tomorrow at the Box Hill Town Hall, running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The event features a great lineup of food stalls alongside specialized vendors offering traditional regional sweets. Visitors can browse a marketplace filled with stalls containing imported kimono, ceramics, books, and anime merchandise, or view meticulous displays of Ikebana, Bonsai, and model Shinkansen trains. There are also interactive workshops for origami, Shogi, and yo-yo fishing, alongside ongoing stage performances including Wadaiko drumming, traditional dance, and martial arts demonstrations.

For those planning to visit, free public transport is still running across the network tomorrow.

Our guest announcements for Animaga 2026 begin with Miho Okasaki (岡咲 美保).

Her project history is highlighted by the lead role of Rimuru Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, alongside key roles such as Loux Krystas in The Dawn of the Witch and Hinana Ichikawa in The Idolmaster Shiny Colors. These titles encompass various fantasy and idol-themed settings that have become staples of the industry in recent years.

Seeing the individual who portrays these diverse characters is a key highlight to start our guest lineup, and her attendance is something you won't want to miss if you are a fan of the Slime series.
