Congratulations to Corporal Joe Heuser and K-9 Nick on their outstanding first-place finish at the 2026 Treasure Coast Police K-9 Competition!

These two have been competing together for years and have consistently finished among the top teams. While they’ve always been contenders, their goal was to claim that coveted #1 spot—and this was their year.

Last year, Joe and Nick finished in second place, missing first by less than two seconds. When we asked Joe about his goals for this year’s competition, he humbly replied that he’d be happy with a Top 3 finish.

But the moment Joe and Nick stepped onto the field, it was clear they had come ready to leave it all out there. Their speed, precision, teamwork, and determination earned them the top spot on the podium and the Obstacle Course Championship.

When they asked, “How can we help?” they truly meant it.

Not only did they support our event, but they also provided our volunteers with the tools and supplies they needed to keep the show running smoothly from start to finish. Behind every successful event is an incredible team of volunteers, and having the right equipment made all the difference.
