Do you want to learn how to write in cursive? Ever thought about using a fountain pen but don’tknow how to get started? This Saturday at our Pen Shop we have 2 classes! First a FREE class on the basics of how to use a fountain pen at 1pm. At 1:45 we have an American Cursive Handwriting Class (see pics for details). The fee is $25 for this 2 hour class. Congratulations once again to the 2025 Orlando Pen Show Pen Maker’s Challenge Champion! The Pen Maker Challenge! Every year we do a pen maker’s challenge for charity. Pen makers who attend the show are asked to make a pen with either the colors of the Florida Fountain Pen logo or themed to the coral reefs. Every year our pen makers go all out. The competition is fierce. Last year we started awarding a championship belt to the winner. The winning pen is chosen by a panel of judges. The pens are all auctioned off by silent auction at the show. All of the proceeds go to of Key West. Last year new raised over $5400 for them at a typically slow time of year. Reef Relief does many great things to protect our natural coral reefs. They educate people, they teach children at a coral camp, they host physical clean ups and many other things. So the winner gets a FREE table at next year’s show. All attendees and vendors can bid on the pens and the money goes to a great cause.

Same venue! We are already working to make this the best year ever! Our venue hotel the Orlando Hotel and Conference Center has some very nice amenities. The lobby has a restaurant, a bar, a Chick fil A and a Starbucks! The lobby opens into a thriving 300 store shopping mall with lots of places to eat. The location is perfect! A short drive to the Orlando Airport (5.6 miles). It’s close to all the area attractions. Our special discount room rate is $132 plus tax and $7 resort fee. This is a remarkably good value! You can get the room rate 3 days before and 3 days after the show as long as rooms are available. We always sell out of rooms way in advance so book your room now. Our “brick and mortar” Pen Shop, Florida Fountain Pen Holiday Schedule:

Closed our normal Sun and Mon. Closed Tues too. 12/21 to 12/23 closed. Open Weds Christmas Eve day for last minute shopping. Closed Thurs Christmas Day. Open Sat and Sun 11am to 3pm.

Saturday the 27th is our first monthly Pen Cleaning Day meet up! Join us to clean pens, use our gear for free or we can clean them for you for a fee. While we work there will be light snacks and special deals on major brands. Come join the fun!

The Orlando Pen Club December meet up and Holiday Party was held in our newly renovated back room at Florida Fountain Pen. We had a lot of fun! Gifts were exchanged, we had discounts on brand name pens, we gave away some door prizes and had food too.
