It's our spookiest event of the year and we would loooove to see your Halloween costumes! as elaborate or as basic as you can muster on a Thursday night 😈🎃🪩

We've got the weeping DJ Whitney warming up the dance floor, followed by the creepy DJ Cricket to spook us to sleep!

Be sure to take advantage of our open practica space to dance, or stretch, or play Catan, whatever your heart desires beforehand! (you could also probably run into some of us across the street at Chucks and take advantage of their rotating food truck)

7:30-8:00 Open Practica Space
8:00-9:30 DJ Whitney
9:30-11:00 DJ Cricket

The Dance Thing, umbrella org for WTF: Weekly Thursday Fusion , is putting a call out for our new Executive Director.

It’s been seven years, four in person weekenders (plus one virtual one) and so much skillful, quiet, behind the scenes leadership getting this Thing started and running, and it has come time for Justin Johnson to hand off the torch – to whom we hope will be the next person to take it, dream with it, and lead us to where is next.

We’re hoping for someone who’s community-minded, steady & reliable, and who can grow the org properly and support our event leads – driven by what you can make happen and by what you get to be a part of.

Read about the role here:

APPLY BY NOV. 19!

We cannot thank Justin enough for all his vision, steadfastness – picking up everything from tiny tech details & infrastructure to heavy lifts – that have not only kept the lights on for The Dance Thing, but positioned it as a resource for other dance orgs and dreams to come. 🍍
