Submissions are open for the Norwescon Writers Workshop through February 1, 2027! NWW is an opportunity for peer-to-peer critique of your story under the guidance of pro industry writers, editors, and agents. We accept short story and novel excerpts in the sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres. There is no fee to participate beyond your Norwescon 49 membership. Wait, it's September already? As we bid good bye to summer and head into fall we must also say good bye to our current membership rate. On October 1, the four-day adult membership rate for will increase to $110. That is still an amazing deal for four full days of geeky events and programming - but we get it if you want the best price of the season. For the rest of September, a four-day adult membership is only $80. Buy one for yourself and sign up a friend to come with you.
