Hi Porchfesters! We are thrilled to announce our festival date for this year. We need our community now more than ever. This year is off to a heavy start, but we know that remaining connected is what will help us through.

June feels like a lifetime away, but we're hoping you'll save the date. NOTE: This year, we won't be accepting new submissions for musicians since we have a back log of folks that have expressed interest over years past. Don't let this stop you from sending us your links for future years, though. We listen to each submission personally and we love to hear what you're up to. We love you all, and can't wait to see you in June!

THAT'S A WRAP!

As we take a deep breath to reflect, we feel overwhelmed by the love and support of our Porchfest community. We have so many people to thank for making this our best year yet.... the stupendous hosts, the insanely talented musicians, and most of all YOU!

Not only did you bring the positive energy and liveliness that makes our festival fun, your donations are STILL trickling in. As you know, 100% of your donations (and any remaining sponsorship monies) are split evenly between the bands. Wahoo! Tomorrow is the big day and we're soooo excited to see your sweet little faces! Here's some details to help you plan your day!

My Friend Derek's Pizza will be open from noon to around sunset! No pizza, but $1 hot dogs and $1.25 Douglas beers!

For the After Party, head over to Leny's Place. The ultimate local Tangletown bar, also hosting "Pourfest" with live music. Hot dogs start at 2pm and all proceeds will go to the Seattle Humane Society!

Our neighborhood music festival, now called Tangletown PorchFest, will be presenting its fifth annual show next week. Hello, lovelies.

We are less than 2 weeks away, and we are purely giddy. We'd like to take a moment to celebrate the sponsors that have supported us this year. Not only have they made it possible to supply port-o-potties (yep), but they have allowed us to help fund our musicians!

As some may know, we are only able to qualify for grant funding every OTHER year. This is not a grant year, so we are relying on our sponsors and crowd donations to support our musicians. All donations and leftover sponsorship monies are split evenly between our musicians.

Our goal is to create lasting community bonds, and to expose concert-goers to music they may not have heard otherwise.

We want to thank our sponsor for hosting our after party this year! They are also hosting bands throughout the day, if you want to wander back and forth!

4 MORE WEEKS!

Hello, Porchfesters!! Lovely weather we're having, huh? We can't help but be reminded of the heat wave of year one, and the "monsoon" of year four..... iykyk....

Rain, shine, sweat..... Doesn't matter! This is our 5th year anniversary (please bring us some wood), and we have been celebrating with our new name and new website (www.tangletownporchfest.com)!

On 6/21, we are so excited to bring you a group of incredible artists that will be performing on the porches of novice and veteran hosts. We are simply tickled pink about it.

Take a second to appreciate our hosts, without whom we'd be nothing. NOTHING!
