Jessie James Grelle has been a part of the Anime VO community since 2004. She began her journey in Houston, Texas at ADV Films, and would go on to work for FUNimation, Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, and more. In her 20 years of VO work, she has been involved in over 400 individual titles across anime, pre-lay animation, and videogames.
Jessie's most notable roles include Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan, Izo in One Piece, Grand Priest in Dragon Ball Super, Yuri Katsuki in Yuri on Ice, Tokoyami Fumikage in My Hero Academia, Kenichi in Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple, Tyrian Callows in RWBY, William Vangeance in Black Clover, Demigra in Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Issei Hyodo in High School DxD, Kinro in Dr. Stone, Byakuya Togami in Danganranpa the Anime, Ginoza in Psycho Pass, Ritsuka in Given, Snapper in Viral Hit, and Prince Zen in Snow White with the Red Hair and many, many more!

Paul St. Peter, twice nominated for BTVA Awards, is a voice actor from Los Angeles, whose many anime and video game credits include KINGDOM HEARTS (Xemnas), NARUTO (Nine Tail Fox), ONE PUNCH MAN (Beast King), DIGIMON (Wormmon, Leomon), ROBOTECH (Zor Prime), MIRACULOUS LADYBUG (Master Fu), BLEACH (Yammy Riyalgo), WORLD OF WARCRAFT (Boden The Imposing), DYNASTY WARRIORS I-IV (Yuan Shao), DIGIMON: THE MOVIE (Kokomon), ZETMAN (Sugito), MAJIN (Majin), TESTIMONY OF THE NEW SHE DEVIL (Valga), BERSERK (Grunbeld), MIRACULOUS LADYBUG (Master Fu), GODZILLA III (Takeshi), LUPIN Pt.5 (Mamo), and RESIDENT EVIL 5 (Swahili Zombie). Due to so many amazing performers we had the honor to experience last year; we are excited to bring to you another opportunity to showcase your talent and skills without the stress of being judged or competing in a contest! This year, we are experimenting with a brand-new event called The Variety Show! Now I know it can get a little confusing with us having the Lip Sync Showdown on top of this, but here are a few key differences that make the Variety Show what it is versus how we run Yama’s Lip Sync Showdown!
There’s no judges! This is all just for the joy of fun!
All acts are welcome(so long as it is rated E for EVERYONE)
Examples of acts include but are not limited to, Comedy Sketches, Lip Syncing, Flow Dancing, Theatrical Numbers, Juggling, Live Singing, Magic Tricks or even Live Art!
Cosplay is encouraged but not required!
We really hope to see more faces hit the stage with this new event, and hope this encourages others to sign up and show Yama-Con you’re special talents! To save your spot, sign up by November 1st!

Are you all ready for us to bring back one of last year's fan favorite events? We sure are! Because of all of the lovely feedback from you beautifully sweet attendees this past year, we have made the spectacular decision to bring back Yama’s Lip-Sync Showdown! It was a blast to have so many people attend, not just as performers but for those of you who just wanted to enjoy a show! So, tag along with a friend and let’s bring that energy back and bigger than before! Sign-Ups start September 1st and end November 1st, so you have plenty of time to get your acts, props, and costumes together to step into the mystical realm of Yama’s Lip Sync Showdown!

The contest itself will be held inside the air-conditioned museum, and you’ll have access to the restrooms if you need a place to change.
