Dark Force Fest 2027 Band Announcement:
PRIEST [Sweden] Priest
Priest is a synth-driven force that creates music rooted in the vastness of electronic dreams. The goal of their multifaceted prophecy is to safely guide humanity unto the next evolutionary step - the merging with machines.

This occult technopop act from Sweden dives deeper into harder synth textures: EBM and big beat-chaos throwing you headfirst into the flickering neon of 80s scifi, clashing with the relentless pulse of gothic and industrial soundscapes.

With several praised global tours and critically acclaimed releases like New Flesh and Body Machine, Priest has carved out a devoted and ever-growing international following. Their high-octane live shows are a full sensory assault - a cybernetic ritual of pure machine power.

The enigmatic trio - vocalist Mercury, keyboardist Salt, and programmer/keyboardist Sulfur now return with their new release "CHAOS EP".

Dark Force Fest 2027 Band Announcement:
REAPER [Switzerland / Greece]

REAPER: Industrial Sarcasm
The middle finger in the glitter-clad costume of the dark scene.
REAPER is not an art project — it is ex*****on and affection for scene clichés at the same time.
Vasi Vallis drops all intellectual restraint and sends the satirical wrecking ball straight onto the dancefloor. Anyone searching for profound lyricism has missed the point: REAPER is the conscious, affectionate play with Industrial clichés and blunt provocation.
Aggression Meets Absurdity
Instead of drowning in grim seriousness, REAPER kicks the door in and delivers its tracks with a malicious grin. Song titles so obvious they hurt, and sounds surgically tuned for maximum club destruction, form the foundation. No lectures, no distance — but an experiment on the dancefloor itself: how much cliché can it take before madness turns into method?
By exaggerating the symbols of Industrial subculture to the point of caricature, Vasi Vallis exposes his closeness to and reverence for it. REAPER is the outlet for everything that has no place in his Future Pop projects. It is loud, it is dirty, and it is absolutely not meant to be taken seriously — except when it comes to having fun. Anyone dancing to REAPER celebrates the downfall with a cynical grin on their face.

Dark Force Fest 2027 Pre-Party Band Announcement:
Lost Signal [New York]

Lost Signal is the electronic project of solo artist Charles Rehill, built on the idea that the smallest details carry the deepest feeling. Drawing on composers from Vangelis to Ólafur Arnalds, his music pairs ambient textures with pulsing, abstract rhythms, a blend that has earned him recognition as a pioneer of “futurepop.”

Rehill signed to Inception Records and Trisol Music Group at just 19 and went on to release his debut full-length, Catharsis (2000), which featured club anthems including “Torment” and “Absence” and stayed on the Deutsche Alternative Charts for weeks. After Inception closed its doors, friend and collaborator Tom Shear signed Rehill to his own 23dB Records, where he released Eviscerate (2006) and Apparition (2008). Alongside the music, he built a career in sound design and production for Native Instruments, Arturia, Akai, and Novation, while growing a deep collection of hardware that shaped the textures of everything to follow.

After a lengthy hiatus, Lost Signal returned on Metropolis Records with Anatomy of Melancholy (2024) and Light of Other Days (2025). Rehill also released the ambient album Devises (2024) under his own name. Lost Signal is currently touring and working in the studio on the next full-length album.

We're excited to have Lost Signal at the official Dark Force Fest 2027 Pre-party at QXTs

Dark Force Fest 2027 Band Announcement:
ICON OF COIL [Norway]

In 1997, Andy LaPlegua founded Icon of Coil in Fredrikstad, Norway, initially built around a logo and visual concept before music took over. He brought in Sebastian R. Komor, a past collaborator from Sector 9 (now Moonitor), who became a full-time member after debut single "Shallow Nation" sold out its first pressing in two weeks, landing a deal with Tatra Records.

The band toured Germany supporting Apoptygma Berzerk in 2000, the year "One Nation Under Beat" hit #3 on the Deutsch Alternative Chart. Christian Lund joined as a live member that spring, completing the trio. Their debut album, Serenity Is the Devil (Nov. 2000), also reached #3 on the DAC and was released in North America by Metropolis Records, leading to a scrappy first US tour in 2001 that built a devoted following. That summer they played major European festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Infest, and M'era Luna.

"Situations Like These" became a club hit, fueling a second North American tour with VNV Nation in late 2001. Their sophomore album, The Soul Is in the Software (2002), topped the DAC chart for weeks, followed by 2004's Machines Are Us and the remix set Uploaded and Remixed.

The band then went on indefinite hiatus as Andy LaPlegua focused on Combichrist, though Icon of Coil reunited for a 2011 Australian tour and released the single "PerfectSex" in 2012, and is currently working on new material.

This rare performance is Icon of Coil's first US show since 2023.
Icon of Coil will also be hosting a meet and greet for VIP ticket holders.

Dark Force Fest 2027 Band Announcement:
HEAVY HALO [NYC]

Heavy Halo is conflict: darkness vs. light, noise vs. melody, machine vs. skin and bone. It is
wide-eye idealism dragged down to the dirt by harsh reality. Heavy Halo is a Goth-Grunge blood-pact forged in the NYC underground between McKeever and Gosteffects. The band takes the spirit and existential angst of Alternative and Industrial and passes it through the shattered prism of the internet age, refracted and made new. Jagged guitars and raw electronics explode over gut-rattling 808's. But at their core, Heavy Halo are
melody junkies, lacing tracks with shameless hooks and McKeever's 100% unfiltered vocals.
As direct as the music is, the origin of the band is anything but straightforward...
McKeever spent years studying composition at Columbia University while playing every
sweat-soaked DIY venue possible. Gosteffects was banging out weaponized techno at illegal
raves across the country. Finally, the two met and immediately felt something in common: both
would be dead if they didn't create music.
But Heavy Halo wouldn't come together until after McKeever went through a chaotic spiral that
sent him to New Orleans, Los Angeles, a psychiatric ward, and back.
They regrouped in New York’s pandemic wasteland, holed up in Gosteffect's studio built in a
former hospital. Driven by desperation and claustrophobia, clawing up the walls as they closed
in, they ended up crafting the most emotional songs either had ever recorded. The resulting
album is pure catharsis.
Heavy Halo is getting up after life beats the s**t out of you and spitting back in its face.
In all this conflict, Heavy Halo is the revenge.
