We are so excited to see the entire Strides4CJDNJ community tomorrow morning at Central Park of Morris County! Your passion and dedication have been incredible, and now it's time to celebrate and walk together.

🌟 Get Ready for an Inspiring Day at Strides for NJ! 🌟

Dear Strides for CJD NJ Community,

We’re just days away from an incredible day of community, compassion, and celebration at Strides for NJ this Saturday at Morris County Park! The weather forecast is calling for fantastic conditions—sunny skies and comfortable temperatures—making it the ideal day to come together and make a difference.

As you know, our event is about more than just walking / running. It’s a heartfelt gathering to honor and remember with family & friends and strengthen our CJD NJ community bonds. One of the most meaningful parts of the day will be our Memorial Wall and Ceremony, where we will pay tribute to those we’ve lost and celebrate their lives. It’s a powerful moment to reflect, remember, and unite in love and remembrance.

Throughout the event, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself and give back:

Raffles, Silent Auctions, and a 50/50: Exciting prizes and chances to win – every dollar goes to the organization.

First Watch will be there serving their famous food bowls (FREE!!!) —delicious, nutritious, and the perfect way to fuel your day!

Lawn Games including corn hole.

This month’s Genetic Prion Disease Virtual Support Group on September 30 at 7PM Eastern will be co-led by guest discussion leaders: Vicki and Nick. Both presented on a Genetic Family Workshop at the 2025 CJD Foundation Family Conference.

They will be discussing their experience of attending the Family Conference, as well as sharing their story with the Genetic Family Workshop.

If you are a family affected by Genetic Prion Disease, please join us for a Peer-Led Virtual Support Group. This group is designed to provide support and the opportunity for open dialogue in a secure forum.
