This January, Gibney Company takes the stage at New York City Center for the world premiere of Another Look, choreographed by Resident Choreographer Lucinda Childs to Philip Glass’s Another Look at Harmony, Part 4.

Another Look will be performed with live music by 18 singers and an organist from French ensemble Les Métaboles.

On Wednesday, Gibney mobilizes the dance community in observance of Denim Day, an internationally recognized day raising awareness around sexual assault.

Denim Day began following a 1998 Italian Supreme Court ruling that overturned a r**e conviction based on what the victim was wearing. Today, wearing denim stands as a powerful act of protest against harmful myths and a gesture of solidarity with survivors.

On April 29, our Move to Move Beyond Storytellers will perform a work rooted in lived experiences, fostering advocacy, connection, and awareness as part of in Brooklyn.

Join us in standing with survivors. Save the date. Wear denim.
